Universal Japanese license plate set

Made for the model building enthusiast.

This universal set will fit most 1:18 models with plate frame size of W: 18.2mm x H: 9mm

This set requires expert assembly. Compared to our partially-assembled decal sets, here you can cut out and apply your desired configuration.

This set includes every possible Prefecture of City name, Hiragana letters, anti theft seal artwork, all numbers for identifier code as well as class codes.
All dimensions have been taken from original Japanese plates to ensure the most accurate sizing and representation of a number plate for your model

Purchase quantity 1 = 20 License plates

1 set consists of:

• 2x PE Metal sheet (1 sheet has 10 plates, 15 hex bolts, 5 plate seals)
• 1x Decal sheet including all artwork to do any combination possible of the standard White / Green passenger vehicle.
• 1x Info sheet

PE License plate size:

• 18.2mm width
• 9mm height

To install

• Apply decals of your choosing
• Apply Tamiya TS-13 clear coat (recommended but not required)
• After paint has dried, apply hex bolts & anti theft seals with their corresponding decals
• Trim license plate from PE sheet
• Apply glue to back of PE plate and place on your model

The PE sheet is pre-processed with the following steps:

• Cleaned with acetone
• 1 coat VMS Metal Prep 4K
• 3 coats Tamiya White Primer 300087044
• 1 coat Tamiya clear TS-13

Alternatively to the included PE bolt heads, we can suggest the use of our resin detailing bolts "Hexagon bolt 0.7mm"
