DIY German License Plate Universal Decal Set

This universal DIY decal set will fit most 1:18 models with either pre-mounted factory plates or blank License plates areas for Standard European sizes.

Required plate size: of W: 28.8mm x H: 6.1mm
Simply apply the decal directly over the existing plate surface or add your own base plate.

All letters are printed slightly raised to give a 3D effect.

You have the option:
Decal Only -> Ideal if your model already has a pre-mounted plate and you simply want to apply a German license plate on top
or
Decal + PE Metal Base -> Recommended if your model has no plate or if you want a more realistic, thin metal finish.

1 set consists of:

• 1x Decal sheet of your selected type. Each type includes full DIY set to complete 20 number plates (10x Front, 10x Rear, 10 matching sets)
• 20 blank Plates with black frame and Blue D stripe
• Optional: 1 Set Photoetch Metal Base plate set
  -> pre-painted white
  -> 10 plates to match the Decal Set W: 28.8mm x H: 6.1mm
• Optional: Additional set of State Plaques with 6 plaques per state, 114 plaques total. Set A & B only include 2 plaques per state, if you place on making many plates for a single state, this extra set is for you.

Available plate sets

• Type A - DIY Set FE-Mittelschrift (Max. 7 Characters - Standard width for plates with 7 or less Characters)
• Type B - DIY Set FE-Engschrift (Max. 8 Characters - Standard width for plates with 8 Characters)

Each DIY set includes details to also create

• 1x Short term plates
• 1x Export plates
• 2x Seasonal plates

Please note:

Most factory-installed license plates on models are already printed. This may affect the final appearance:

• Black plate with white print -> White elements may show through, slightly darkening the decal
• White plate with black print -> Black elements may show through
• Full printed plate -> Underlying graphics may remain visible

For the best results, we recommend preparing the surface:

• Remove existing print (e.g. with acetone-free nail polish remover)
• Repaint the plate surface
• Or replace it entirely with the optional PE metal base

Important! some models have different pre-applied license plates, please check your model before purchasing to ensure the decal will fit your model and meet your expectations. Our decals are made to fit W: 28.8mm x H: 6.1mm
